Hey musician!
Here you can read more and sign up for the We Want More workshops on Sunday, June 14th. The workshops are open to everyone between the ages of 12 and 26. It’s helpful if you already have some experience with an instrument or with singing. The workshops take place at D'n Hiemel in Maastricht.
Workshop songwriting (choice)
Have you always wanted to write a song yourself? Or have you written something before, but would you like to try creating something together with others? Whether you have lots of experience or none at all, everyone is welcome at the songwriting workshop!
Together with an experienced songwriter, you’ll write a song that will be performed at the end of the afternoon. What genre it will be, which instruments will be used, and whether it will include vocals or not, we will discover that together on the day itself! This all depends on who joins the workshop, June 14th.
Workshop covering (choice)
Do you already make music yourself, but would you like to do so together with others sometime? Then the covering workshop is for you! Get to know other young musicians from the region, as you learn to play a song together under the guidance of an experienced band coach. At the end of the afternoon you will present your covered song together!
Musician's Masterclass (open to everyone)
During the Musician's Masterclass, you will learn everything you need to know about being a musician. How do you get gigs? What do you need to tell a stage before you go and play there? How can you make money from performances? These are examples of topics that will be discussed.
